Cyclical Figures

These watercolors focus on Earth-based themes such as seasonal shifts and instinct, as well as scenes from faerie tales. While the style of the figures is my own creation, I hope its simplicity and universality bring to mind a lineage of art spanning time and cultures: twisted figures in the Book of Kells, elegant ancient Cycladic Figures, and evocative Mimbres pottery art.
